So I think it is safe to say that I was gone for pretty much a year! So UH hello! Not that many of you probably missed me, or read me for that matter! It was kind of fun coming back here and reading something that I posted a year ago, not going to lie! Either way - HELLO LEOT! If you guys are newbs here, LEOT is the abbreviation for "Life of an Extra Ordinary Teen"! Except I may not be a teen soon, but all is well that ends well! Now going back to the title of this post, "Welcome Back!", I would like to say, there are just a few welcome's in order here! First welcome - to my new horse! I am officially leasing a 16.2 hh Holsteiner gelding that was literally JUST imported from Germany! My old small junior sold on November 4th, and with me being horseless, a lady at my barn took the initiative and killed two birds with one stone! She bought another sale horse that will hopefully be competitive on the Junior Hunter circuit and found a horse for me to lease! I am so thankful for this situation! Second welcome - to me again! Seeing as I have been M.I.A. for the past year, well, hello guys! I missed blogging! And finally, third welcome - to school! Yes, today I started my second semester of my Senior year! How scary is that? I am hoping to get into a college with a NCAA Equestrian Team and hopefully that is doable! I have already been admitted to the school, just not the team, so fingers crossed!
I will let you guys go now, to continue on with your probably somewhat seemingly normal lives, and me with my complete disastrous one! I dropped Journalism and added the school's television broadcast network (but Lord help me if they find out I edit!) and I also added a ROP class! Basically trying to kill myself because I am also taking the wonderful AP Government! The ROP class is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 - 7:00 which could be a problem on Wednesdays because of my crunch with riding (also have my old pony back so I will be riding two now until he sells!) and I need to be adequately available for the television broadcast group to help film and edit and not be a nuisance!
So NOW I am going to leave because I still need to finish homework (yes, I got homework other than syllabi for the first day back, cue the gasp) and I need to get ready for the ROP! Hopefully I don't have to drop it because I told my friend to take it with me and she did even though she didn't want to... if I drop it I am literally dead meat.
Goodbye my LEOT's! Love you all!
-E
